This is an all Australian
website for quality advertising and discounts. The benefits are obvious
to all astute businessmen. And that is why the UK counterpart has been
so successful. However, even some smart businessmen cannot understand!
This is because they have a small knowledge of the Internet which is
worse than no knowledge!! They ask questions like, "How many hits?"
and other statistically misleading metrics that they have read about. The problem we have is that if we explain the benefits, they lose their impact. It would be like explaining in an advert the techniques used to persuade people to buy the product! But consider the following true story about an acquaintance when he bought his latest Ferrari. He popped down to his local businessman's club and did not mention it to anyone. Suddenly, there was an announcement over the speaker system, "Will the owner of the Ferrari with number plate F50 please come to the reception". He excused himself from his influential company so that he could check out why they were calling him. He had deliberately parked to block the car park entrance!! When he returned, he was quizzed about his new Ferrari and invited these businessmen to the race circuit the following week. Needless to say, he picked up a lot of new business - it is surprising how many people want to do business with a Ferrari owner. But it does not go down well to brag about your car. The concept of this website is not entirely new. It is based on an idea, Aussie Dollar, hatched a few years ago on another of our websites, Bondi-Surf.com. But we modified to fit in with the brilliant new high profile million dollar theme in the UK which has received so much worldwide media attention. And we have linked to the UK website. We have still retained our original idealism for Aussie Dollar, which is to promote quality Australian products. The businessmen who have paid almost one million US dollars for presence on the UK based website are smart enough to see the benefits. But an additional benefit to this website is that the cost is in Australian dollars. To join, you send us an image, we put it on the website. Alternatively, we can place a colour in one of the squares for you. We will link to your website if you have one. If you do not have a website, we can create one for you at a nominal charge. If you do not want a website, we can display your details such as name, telephone and address when your particular square is accessed. The annual charge is one dollar per pixel with a minimum size of ten by ten pixels costing one hundred dollars.
